Cool Experience Guid was very knowledgeable and amazing to see Pompeii! Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes (don’t recommend flip flops) and bring water!

Fabulous day to Vesuvius Booked car service to take us to Vesuvius and a Vesuvius wine producer after. Driver was excellent! Made our day so easy. Maurizio was an excellent driver, very friendly and full of information. Claudio was great to book with. I would not hesitate to book with them again!

Very nice excursion Very well organized, pickup was super punctual, we had a great tour guide, the food was good, and the excursion to Mount Vesuvius was exciting! All in all, recommended!

Very professionnal The tour was very well organized. The company even came ot pick us up from the port directly, along other tourists from their hotel, on our way to Pompei. On-site, we were given headphones to make sure we could hear the guide throughout the tour without problem, which came in very handy given the size of the site. The guide was very professionnal and knowledgeable. The tour was extremely pleasant, highly recommend.

A good experience We enjoyed the whole experience; the pickup in Salerno was as planned. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept the tour at a good pace allowing us all to understand what happened in Pompei

The experience of a lifetime. From being notified about my pickup point the day before, to the final drop-off, this was an expertly organised tour. Maria, my guide, was outstanding and very knowledgeable. On a very hot day she found the shade, pointed out the highlights and guided us through the experience of a lifetime. To walk the streets that Romans walked, to touch the marble and stone they touched, to see the wall paintings and street signs … it was unforgettable.

Visit to Pompeii Very good experience, everything was well organized, the transportation to and from the pickup point was excellent, and the guide's explanation was excellent as well. 100% recommended!!!

History of Pompeii We missed the mark on this one. We should have picked a different type of tour. We basically only booked the shuttle service. So we were left navigating getting Audioguide to assist with the tour. The audio guides we purchased/rented were not good. Be sure to get good equipment so that you can enjoy the experience and have the tools to help quide you through the site. There is so much to absorb in Pompeii.

Good, fun Good overall. Be a little patient because the van goes to pick up folks from the hotels and traffic is bad. Pompeii is amazing and interesting.

Myths of Pompeii revealed. Positive: Transportation was very good. Tour was very informative, a proper length and weather was perfect. The crowd was okay. The information provided was ver interesting. Negative: having to pay to use the bathroom.

Fantastic experience The tour was very interesting. Our guide, Alex, spent two hours with us exploring Pompeii: with great professionalism and expertise, and especially with great friendliness, he shared the history of what was this enchanting city, even with anecdotes. The children were also very enthusiastic about the explanation. In conclusion, everything was excellent, especially our guide!

If you are in the area this is an experience you do not want to miss. Super nice to see with your own eyes. DO! For the end of April a week Naples booked for me and my wife. The city itself is of course an attraction but in the area is also plenty to admire. This trip to Pompeii and the Vesiuvius volcano. The trip consisted of a morning (pompeí) and afternoon part (lunch and and trip to and from Vesiuvius). We were picked up from the hotel Royal Continetal but there where more pick-ups for this tour. Our driver was a friendly Italian who steered the luxury minibus safely through heavy traffic. We deliberately chose to take the trip to Pompeii with a guide. Our guide was a friendly Italian young lady who calmly and comprehensively took care of the explanations. Pompeii was really beautiful to see and special that after almost 2000 years there were still ruins standing. How people lived there and what was technologically possible at that time. In the afternoon we take the minibus up the mountain to our pizza lunch and after lunch we continue to Mount Vesuvius. Last part of a few hundred meters on a gravel path along the volcano up. This was doable on foot with a temperature of 25°C. There were also four moments on the path where you could buy a bottle of water and rest if necessary. From the top of the volcano view of the crater where fumes still come out. And also from the top of the mountain a fantastic view over the Bay of Naples. As a disadvantage I would mention that it is not very cheap (€124 pp) But what is that nowadays.

Pompeii It was very difficult to find the trip coordinator to start our journey to Pompeii. It was not an easy transition. The number of people trying to locate the guide/driver

Great tour Booked this tour last minute and so glad we did. I am not sure the tour operators name (maybe Elise?) but she was fantastic. Great job leading our entire group and making the tour educational and even managing some humor. It was very interesting. For me, the 4 hours was enough. If you are more into history you may want more time. The ear piece are ok- just try to stand close to the operator to have less static.

Very organized and informative Very organized, informative, and got us back to the cruise ship when promised (was only running 30 minutes behind after all stops but still organized a separate van for 7 passengers from Mt. Vesuvius at end of day to arrive at our cruise ship one hour before departure). Highly recommended.

Visit Pompeii Great visit with Sandra our Francophone guide. Filled with knowledge, kindness, many anecdotes and very kind. I recommend

Great excursion Great excursion just long enough with 5 hours Very well organised and we were well looked after

Excellent tour Fantastic tour, we really enjoyed our visit to Pompeii. The port pick up was very well organised and we were dropped back to Naples with plenty of time to explore the town area and grab some delicious local delights for lunch. Our guide was excellent, she was very knowledgeable and shared so much information with us in a fun and engaging way. Absolutely recommend this tour

Recommended Everything was perfect. Organization great, pick up works even with a hotel not off the list.

A Great Pompeii Tour Very well organized and easy to be a part of this tour. Pick up and drop off and the drive from the Napoli Train Station was quck. The tour guide was excellent and the ruins and and stories behind them are great. Our guide was both knowledgeable and funny and answered everyone's questions. The group wasn't too big and didn't move too fast or too slow. We had our two childrent with us, 2 and 6, and with the young one in the stroller, it worked out well.

What to do to visit Pompei We enjoyed the care close to our accommodation. Visit to the top, very good guide , correct and relevant explanations. I recommend

Highly recommend! The whole experience was awesome! I book the day prior, the hotel pick up was perfect. The tour was absolutely excellent, about 2 hours long. The guide was super knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The fact that the bus, the entrance fee and the guide was included was great. I highly recommend this experience

A great day out On our short trip to Sorrento we booked a visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius… it was a great way of seeing both on the same day. With a car collection from and back to our hotel and a mini coach transfer between sites plus a stop off for pizza all went well. The Pompeii guide was informative and entertaining and we were well looked after. We were very happy with the experience thank you project Napoli service.

The best experience. An unforgettable experience thanks to Flavio guide and Max bus driver.

Great Our driver was very friendly. Made our travel easy

Wonderful Pompeii tour The tour couldn’t have been better. So accommodating, from picking us up at the hotel to someone waiting for us when we got there to walk us to meet our guide. No guess work. Our guide was so knowledgeable and interesting and we learned so much and had time to take pictures and ask questions. The actual walking tour was a couple hrs and flys by. Could not have been a better experience. Highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful excursion with a very good guide It is well organized and we were lucky to be a very small group which improved the visit Few people on the site which is very good Nice guide, cultured knowing his subject well and speaking a perfect French full of humor as a bonus 😁 Bravo to Gisèle and thank you bcp to her 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 But it would take hours and hours to explore the huge site 3rd visit for me, and I discovered again wonders This is a fabulous site not to be missed

Great way to see both major sites in Napoli. Amazing archeological site. Bernadetta was an amazing guide. Patient and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend her in Pompeii. Mount Vesuvius was impressive.

Half day trip to Pompeii from Naples We had a great trip to pompeii, our guide was so knowledgeable and helpful Such an interesting awesome place Having an English speaking guide was really helpful

Pompeii & Mt Vesuvius Day Tour with lunch Fantastic experience! The company was very well organized, and every detail was handled perfectly. We had so much fun and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting. Lunch was also delicious!

Fantastic Guided Tour Our guide Angelo was fantastic. He was funny, informative and interesting. He was happy to answer any questions very clearly and is clearly passionate about his subject matter.

A fantastic day out. Fantastic day. Well organised and glad we went early in the morning as crowds later at Pompeii were horrendous. All in all, a great quality experience and well worth the cost. Recommend highly.

Pleasant and informative. Everything was excellent, from the transportation to and from Pompeii to the guide at the site. Very pleasant and professional. I was also impressed with everyone’s ability to speak several languages including perfect English!

Pompeii before and after Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The selection of sites to see at Pompeii gave us a good understanding of the events that took place and life during this period.

A thorough and humane take on a catastrophic event beautifully presented Pompeiiis amazing , the immensity of it and history that is known from an awful catastrophe is mind boggling , our guide a local Pompeii girl had just the right mix of drama , history and empathy for the humanity of Pompeii, 2 hours passed by in a flash and the whole experience was easy to follow .

Pompeii is Amazing Pompeii is such an incredible place to see, and we loved our tour there. Though it was crowded, we were expertly guided through and given time to look and take pictures.

Great excursions by the local agency! The travel agency was very organized and ontime and travel guide met at each location was very kind and knowledgeable. We were very satisfied.

Lisa is the BEST! The half-day tour was incredible. Lisa, our tour guide, was a lot of fun. She provided historical facts along with an in-depth knowledge of the archeological area. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a shorter tour of the sites but isn’t afraid to walk 8000 steps in 2-1/2 hours.

Great excursion Brilliant pompeii was a fabulous place to visit. Mike was an excellent guide. The tour company were exactly on pick up time

Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius A long but well organised day from the point of pickup. Our guide around Pompeii was very knowledgeable and friendly.and was able to add humour in appropriate parts. Mt Vesuvius would not be for people with limited mobility, Worth the half hour steep walk to the top for the views

Great time in Pompeii!! We had such a great time on our Pompeii tour! 🙌 Angela met us at the port and got everything organized, then we joined Erika, our English guide. She was amazing—so knowledgeable and made the history of Pompeii come alive. It was super crowded and really hot and humid 🥵, but we still had enough time to explore and enjoy. Despite the weather, it was an incredible experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Pompei A good experience, appreciated being picked up. 2 hours was a good amount of time at the site. Mario was informative and fun. The organisation of people into buses at the end was good.

Pompeii Brilliant rep certainly knew her stuff very enjoyable her knowledge of Pompeii was brilliant just enough time as well we will certainly recommend this trip

A quick trip through an awe-inspiring civilization It would take much longer than a few hours to see EVERYTHING, but our trip to Pompeii was wonderful! The old amphitheater was my personal favorite part. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and helped to tell the story of Pompeii. I will never forget this experience.

Pompeii tour It was great just the right amount of time. The transport was comfy and guided tour through the archeological site was informative. We Enjoyed the trip.

Great choice for Cruise Ship Passengers Prompt pick up, comfortable coach, excellent guide on site, small group. Returned to ship in plenty of time. Guide planned route around Pompeii so we saw all the highlights without getting getting caught in long queues

First tour of the region It was my first time on the tour and I was worried if I would be able to join them well, but the meeting place was very easy to understand and I was able to relax and enjoy. The guide's explanation was easy to understand and interesting, so I could experience it without getting bored until the end. I think it's very good.

Up Pompeii Excellent visit. Well worth seeing with a knowledgeable guide (some debatable facts) all round very informative and interesting.

Excellent Excellent tour picked up at time given, very informative tour guide professional to the very end Pompeii is a must more English schools need to do these trips amazing

Pompei 1/2 day with it. Guide spoke fluent English informative & interesting. Would recommend Guide spoke fluent English informative & interesting. Would recommend. A lot of history and considerate of mature members of group

Book it! Honestly the best! Picked up and dropped back at my hotel, couldn’t have asked for more! Definitely recommend. Had a 2 hour tour at Pompeii, and free time for the pizza and gift shop!

Efficient and informative tour, highly recommended. The tour guide was excellent and everything ran smoothly, including pick up We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and recommend it. We took out two children, 20 and 18, and found the tour guide highly informative and friendly.

Great Experience Great experience. Definitely a site you must see. Quite a daunting site. If doing in summer take plenty of water and a hat.

Round trip to Pompeii We booked round trip to Pompeii pick up and drop off from the hotel . Good communication , very friendly drivers, great service. Definitely recommend

Excellent Pompeii guide. Excellent guide at the park, very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Just a shame we weren't able to do the vesuvius part of the trip due to the park being closed for safety following the wildfires the week previously. And we couldnt have the lunch either, but we received a full refund for these parts.

Tour fun and taken advantage of It was a very entertaining tour. Our guide was very funny He took us to the most emblematic points of the tour. It was worth it. I recommend it.

Fabulous day out. Great day. All of the guides were very good, the lady at Pompeii was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the 2 hours flew by. Vesuvius was spectacular . Views out of this world. Would highly recommend the day.

Book this trip! Incredible experience. Picked up on time. Arrived at Pompeii and was given a guided tour by Mike who was great. He was full of information and cool at the same time. Then had lunch which was ok, but didnt dampen the day. Then a short drive to vesuvius which was brilliant. Some incredible views. Really good value when you take everything into account. Everyone was great all day.

Best way to visit Pompei Best way to get introduced to Pompei. The guide was fun and entertaining and of course knowledgeable. The walking tour was mind blowing.

This is a great tour with amazing views. Our tour guide, Alba, and our driver (Bepe) were fantastic. Our driver suggested a restaurant in Sorrento for pizza and our guide and driver joined us for a wonderful lunch. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Great trip!!!! I had been several times before, but the guide gave a lot more information that I didn’t know. That was nice. The museum was good as well.

Great tour; knowledgeable and kind tour guide and drivers Great tour; tour guide (Elisa) was very knowledgeable and kind! Her and the drivers provided a wonderful experience as we toured Naples and Pompeii. My son and I are so glad we picked this tour. Three bucket list items checked off in one day! Thank you, Michelle

Pompeii half day This was an amazing experience the guide was so helpful and very knowledgeable, would highly recommend to other. Half a day was a great amount of time but could easily spend more time there .

Pompeii is a must see! Elisa was our guide in Pompeii for a small group tour through the ruins. She did a wonderful job at combining both historical facts and directing us while also letting us explore on our own!

Cruise port pick up It was so much easier to book this for transportation from the cruise port than trying to book taxis or uber. The vehicle was great.

Very well organized, our guide at the exit of the port was efficient and considerate. In Pompeii our exciting Marie guide I recommend this excursion. Everything is ok and well organized. The guides are professional and attentive to travelers. I recommend

Beautiful scenery, not to be missed. This tour exceeded my expectations! We had a wonderful driver, Jonfranco or Frank for short. We had the right amount of time at each location and never seemed rushed. The scenery was beautiful, and I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour, amazing sites. Great tour. A must see and do. It was extremely hot so bring lots of water and a hat. I would visit in cooler weather and explore even more

Valuable tour Everything was by the book, and well organized. I have to praise Roberta and Mikela tour guides who were very helpful and informative.

Sorrento and Amalfi Our driver, Rosario, was great. It was a busy day with 4 stops and an early time to get back to our ship. We never felt rushed, each stop provided time to get our and explore. The van was conformable and Rosario is an expert driver for the narrow, winding roads.

Well worth it Our tour guide was fantastic. She answered all our questions and took us to the highlights of Pompeii. I recommend this company and tour.

Okay, but heat and crowds The visit and transfers very well. Many groups of visitors that original crowds and a lot of heat in June.

Visit of Pompeii A guided tour in French by Marie very pleasant, particularly interesting and exciting thanks to her rich comments. Good organization without a hitch... to advise!

Informative tour, well organised Well organised and good Communication in advance. Punctual Pick up, very informative explanations by the Guide during the Pompeji visit.

Great Tour Had a great morning, not far from Salerno, 2 hour tour bit of time after then straight back .Would highly recommend if not much time.

Wonderful experience Pick up at the Port of Napoli was very helpful. Friendly guide on bus. Loved our guide in Pompeii! Would love to come back and see even more if Pompeii since the ruins are quite extensive!

Reliable Tour! The communication was very good. Be sure to read the messages you get regarding pick-up. The leaders went out of their way to make sure I got their messages and that I was clear on where we would be picked up. We hadn't been to Naples before and didn't realize that there are many streets that the small van simply couldn't drive through! The tour itself was very organized and they made sure we had time at both Pompeii (guided tour was about 2 hours), then lunch, then get to Mt. Vesuvius with time to climb up and take in the views (if not too foggy!) and pics of the live volcano. Very impressive and worth the climb. It can be quite different weather-wise on the top and check your weather info for Mount Vesuvius specifically before going. Good walking shoes are essential. It is not a long hike (about 30 min each way) but it is steep in places. The operators buy your tickets for you so you do not need to do that. Our guide at Pompeii was Salvatore and he was knowledgeable and fun. Please go to the bathroom before the tour as we had to stand around and wait on people and that could throw things off, timing-wise. It is a short tour considering how large Pompeii is, so be aware if you want a very in-depth experience, you should consider devoting an entire day to Pompeii. You will get a headphone to listen to the guide which I think a great improvement over trying to hear someone over the crowds of people that will be there. We had a relatively small group, about 30 or so. Lunch was included since we chose that option and it was good, but they couldn't make the pizza in the time we had so we had a salad (good) or pasta.

Great tour! I took this tour before visiting a wedding in Italy, and I’m glad I did! Organistation was easy, picked up at the train station and shuttled to Pompeii. We had Salvatore, who was extremely kind, funny and knew everything there was to know about the city. The tour was super informative, the views and ruins were absolutely stunning and the weather was perfect. Price was very fair too! Would recommend

An Unbelievable History experience Pompeii was quite an experience. Unfortunately it was the Italian long weekend so the lines were very very long to get into the site of Pompeii. After waiting 2.5 hours to get in, our tour advisor gave us the option that we could only partake in 1 and not the 2 excursions we had booked for. We decided that it was more important to us about the history of the ruins so we stuck with our superior guide, Salvatore (77 years old) for one incredible and very very informative history lesson. His knowledge, humor and moxy helped to understand what and how the destruction from Mt. Vesuvius had done to this society and culture. He clearly explained the preserved architecture, art and folklore. It was amazing to see what survived the destruction and became an important fact in the creation of Western civilization. Thank you Salvatore

Excellent and very surreal. Wonderful guide full of knowledge and quite comedic. The experience was surreal walking through this once flourishing town with Mt Vesuvius live in the background. So much to learn. Needed two days.

Great trip This was an excellent trip!! There is some logistics on the way to Pompeii, meeting other groups etc but you get your full 2 hour tour. The site is huge but I felt the 2 hours was enough. Our guide was exceptional. The site is very organized and all the guides do a good job getting people in and out of rooms. Mt Vesuvius was amazing. This is a up hill 30 -40 minute hike. The ground is loose. This is not for someone with limitations. The crater is huge and it was fascinating seeing the steam still rising. You hike this on your own there are guides giving information at the top. I thought the lunch in between was good. It not amazing but fine for a tour lunch. Salad, pizza or pasta and a drink.

Well worth a visit Salvatore was very good, I think he may have been standing on a hill watching when Pompeii erupted. At 77, he was a wealth of knowledge with quick replies and interesting anecdotes. He kept the tour interesting from start to finish. Thank you, Salvatore.

Truly awesome experience Professional staff. Comfortable passenger van. Knowledgeable guides. Fantastic tour and group experience. Highly recommend.

Great tour guy Everything went smoothly (pick up car on time at my hotel to get me to Pompeii) and the tour guy was great. Plan was also on time.

A great tour Very interesting because of our guide’s descriptions of the ancient city. We learned a lot about the lives of the people and were amazed by what we were able to see. Two hours in the park -starting at 11:30- was a manageable amount of time considering the crowds. There are a couple of restaurants to try after the tour, but we had only 25 minutes to grab something before the bus returned us to Naples.

An excellent day and well worth seeing We had an excellent guide who explained so much. There is so much history and we enjoyed learning about a people and society from so long ago. The guide ensured that the group stayed together. The pick up and drop off was organised well and it was such a relief to know that this was looked after.

Hauntingly Beautiful Tour Great tour! Our guide was wonderful, friendly, and so well informed! Pompeii was hauntingly beautiful; it was like walking through the pages of a history book. It’s a surreal, yet incredible life experience.

Highly recommend Awesome trip, we got picked up from our hotel in Napoli and then were taking out to Pompeii with our tour group, our guide was great told us about lots of cool interesting facts we didn’t know before, thanks for having us!

Great day trip So easy to book and join. Great communication with tour operator. Lovely trip using great mini bus. Guide knowledgeable and good. Climbed the volcano and had two hour tour of Pompeii.

Interesting glimpse into our past! Elysa was very friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. She was very well organized, spoke 3 languages to accommodate every one on the tour and humorous!

A must-see excursion It's an excursion that can't be missed. The views are unforgettable. Driver Giovani, was excellent. He was giving us information on the journeys between cities. We took lunch to a beautiful place on the mountainside, with beautiful view, fantastic food and excellent attention maybe one hour per city is little...but enough to know that we must return......

Pompeii tour... Excellent! A very well organised experience. Pompeii was fascinating and we would definitely use this company again!

No doubt - Easy & Efficient Intro to Pompeii Organized and well communicated- some waiting but we were told what was going on and it was reasonable wait time given how many people visit this site. Our guide Ericka was very patient, calm and engaging. I rate her very highly!

Great day out, be ready to walk! We took this day trip from Naples. Pick up by Antonella from a nearby hotel. Drive to Pompei with commentary by Antonella, who spoke good English and French. There we were handed over to Andrea, who expertly guided us around the sites. Pompei is fast, so you really need a good guide and Andrea was very good. Then to Mount Vesuvius where we enjoyed lunch in Kona restaurant. Billed as a light lunch but really a substantial 3 course meal. Then a hefty walk up to the edge of the crater. (about 30min steep climb) but wonderful views. All in all a well organised great day out. Highlight of our trip to Naples.

Loved it! Definitely worth the trip. We only had 2 hours at Pompei. From what I understand you can do 2 days! I didn't realize how big the city was so we probably only saw half of it. I would seriously suggest watching a few documentaries on prime or something before you go. The one I watched showed what certain areas were, like gladiator quarters etc.. It's a lot of info and most of the time I didn't know what I was taking pics of. Mt. Vesuvius... It's a climb! I didn't think I would make it but slow and sure wins the race. FYI.. it's cold and windy at the top! Bring a jacket! The views are breathtaking!

Must do while in Napoli! We went on the trip with Sandra and Cenaroc and they were very helpful, informative, and fun! It was a great use of our time and money while we were on our vacation. I can't recommend it enough.

My visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius <3 Loved it!! The organization was perfect, each of the processes was fast, good communication with everyone and nothing was missing.ñ for the experience to be complete. As promised.

Must see! Great tour if you only have a half day. We almost didn’t go because we were supposed to head to Amalfi. So glad we did! Nice tour would do the day tour next time but this tour was great as a last minute idea! If you want to see the rest I was told the museum would have completed our experience but we only had time for one. Loved that we were picked up from our hotel.

Perfect delivery! Everything very smooth and easy from start to finish. Nice reception and super guide, fun and informative . Thank you!

All right Excellent service and very attentive. Excursion of 10. We had a great time and Margot solved all our doubts. Thank you!

A simple must Very well organized and with Elisa a fantastic guide explaining everything with knowledge and a bit of freshness, wonderful

WOW - Pompeii and The Volcano in one awesome day! This would have to be one of the best experiences - something to treasure. The opportunity to travel to the ancient ruins of Pompeii in a guided tour allows for a deep dive into the history. The tour also allows for the travelling to and from out of your hands in what is a challenging city (Naples) for foreign drivers. The opportunity to then have a traditional lunch on the way up the volcano, was awesome. The food was great, followed by the steep walk up the volcano to its opening. The views of Naples and Salerno and the coastline is one you will never better. Further, the opportunity to be up close and personal with nature's beast, was matched by its beauty and awe. The magnitude of this adventure will never be lost on myself and my daughter as we shared this wonderful natural adventure.

Super trip to Pompeii It was a wonderful excursion, everything worked out great (pickup, bus ride, admission, guided tour). Our guide Elisa spoke great English, was so accommodating and told so much interesting in the 2 hours. Anytime again. Thank you!

What a great morning Wonderful. I have been to Pompeii several times, but this tour helped me better understand the city and what actually happened there. Our tour guide Elisa was very witty and knowledgeable, explaining and pointing out details that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. The morning flew, and we walked, and walked... but the beauty and info kept us going. The bus there was smooth - we were picked up just in front of Centrale train station. And we returned on another mini bus almost exactly where we started.

great half day tour. this is a great half day tour.. pick up was great and easy off the ship pier.. only thing they had a few stops to pick up other at differ locations which took 30 min out of way... but once there we had a great tour guild.. our group had a super amazon time in Pompeii .. first visit for us all and well spend money. had enough time after they drop us off to enjoy a great local lunch and some shopping before returning to the ship

Pompeii a must see place. Excellent Tour Guide. Very informative and humerus. Highly recommend this tour. I definitely would return for this tour again.

For the best tour, Get the best tour guide Visiting Pompei is fascinating. But Elisa, our tour guide, brought day to day life of a bygone civilization to life. Her historical knowledge of ancient times and how those they events help shape our modern society was informative as well as entertaining. Elisa was a fabulous guide who figuratively brought Pompei back to life. Request her by name (Elisa) and you’ll get your money’s worth out of this tour.

Very good Tour guide was very knowledgeable about Pompeii. Wish we could have seen more of the ruins. Took a lot of photos it was amazing.

Wonderful tour! Our guide Francesca was wonderful! We really enjoyed our tour! Our driver was also very good. I would book this tour again if I’m in Naples.

Great walk through history! Amazing, so much history, great tour guide with good sense of humour! Not too many steps for my sore knees! The roads still in tact from 6th century BC!

Be ready for hairy mountainous drive but you have an expert Friendly driver - tour was as described- got us back on time. Crazy mountainous roads did not expect. Lots of drive time and a reasonable amount of visit time. Personally i would like more visit time and less stops

An absolutely worthwhile excursion. Those who have the fitness should climb Mount Vesuvius. The visit to the Pompeii archaeological site is very impressive and shows vividly the danger Mount Vesuvius poses to the surrounding villages. It gives an insight into a long-ago culture and stimulates the imagination. Then the visit and ascent to Mount Vesuvius. A spectacular experience. A look into the crater of Vesuvius, which presents itself as a very calm mountain and the idea of what kind of forces work inside makes you shudder.

Great excursion 🤩🤩🤩 Very good organization including pick up and drop off service from the hotel.Very professional guidance and enough free time.

Wonderful 1/2 day out! Our guide was very knowledgeable, took us to the best places in the time provided! Very interesting!! Would definitely recommend

Insured organization and fun Super recommended tour! Fantastic organization and very nice and professional guides! In particular the Guide Alex of Pompeii who made the 2-hour tour fun and light and the two guides of Naples tour. Highly recommended!!!

a step back to roman times for 4 irish ladies what a place higher than i expected as knew it had been covered by 30 ft of ash we paid for a guide 4 of us well worth it history stories explinations no problem really liked the stepinng stones in streets and the no vehicular access It leads to a lot of thought how sofisticated they were how sudden it was the detail visible to everybody a look back in time the roman forum as I imagined it the little shops and the takeaway food of then with the splendour of the rich houses Its a thrill to see actual floor tiles they used.. by the way the squeezed orange juice across the road really hit the spot after great experience

A must see Great trip. Well organised with fantastic scenery. Shame it was cloudy but it didn't dampen our mood. A must visit for sure

Great trip Gennaro was great and facilitated everything. Doing both of these in one day is physically tiring but efficient, and with so much to see in Naples, we really enjoyed this trip. Our guide at Pompeii Elisa (sp?) was fantastic and fun. I recommend this trip.

3 hours learning about Pompei and how the people lived there over 2,000 years ago Amazing experience, you really need a guide to get the most of it and our guide Alicia was very interesting. It was so informative and much more enjoyable than expected

Great trip and great tour provider The trip was fantastic - well organised and made the experience extremely easy…..from pickup to guided tour and drop off everything was smooth. The tour operator communicated extremely well prior to and on the day of the tour - well done

Perfect! Amazing experience. It was all very organized and according to the scheduled time. Meeting Pompeii was very gratifying. The Guide seemed very experienced.

Great! Great excursion with Alessandro DS, top organization! I recommend! No waiting, everything was super fluid, and the tour with a great Guide!

Impressive Great guide who gave us a plethora of fascinating information. Half day was perfect amount of time to see the highlights.

Tour of Pompeii with transportation from Naples. Entire experience was great. Easy to find the meeting spot. Staff was profession and efficient. The two hour tour was a good amount of time to see the highlights of Pompeii and our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and spoke very good English. We did not feel rushed. The bus ride from Napoli was comfortable and made the trip very easy. We only had one day in Napoli and I'm very glad we book this tour and would highly recommend it.

Half a day in Pompeii is the way to go! We enjoyed this tour and a half way was ample. We were picked up from our hotel at the instructed time and the driver contacted us the night before. Once we arrived, we were greeted by our tour guide who was friendly, helpful and insightful. We walked around the ruins for approximately two hours and were given about half and hour when we finished to get a quick bite to eat and a drink. The public toilet is 50 c € and it is tightly run 😉 Take water and snacks if you want as they aren’t provided and wear comfortable walking shoes. Certainly well worth doing 😊

Must See Double Attractions As The Two Are Linked To Tell A Story If you are in Naples, then ‘From Naples: Pompeii Ruins & Mount Vesuvius Day Tour’ is a must do. Please wear comfy walking shoes, clothes and definitely a large bottle of water, as this tour’s duration is 7.5hrs, which you will be spending most of your time outdoors – no shelter. Our tour guide was excellent. He clearly showed that he has passion in this field, he was full of knowledge, very informative and straight to the point. I have been on tours where tour guides just waffle on and you can clearly see, that they have lost a lot of people’s attention by mid tour, but not our tour guide… sorry, I can’t remember his name (I have attached a photo of our tour guide – the one wearing a cap and orange quietvox device around his neck and holding a bottle of water). If you get this particular tour guide, you would know that you’re in good hands. Our tour guide described each area in great detail, that you can visually see life in Pompeii before Mt Vesuvius did its thing that is famously known for… buried Pompeii and the population beneath a blanket of ash and pumice. Our tour guide also explained that the sculptures displayed in Pompeii are replicas and if you want to see the genuine sculptures, you can find them housed in a museum in Naples ‘Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli’. You can also find the dead bodies of Pompeii at this same museum to further preserve them, the ones you see at Pompeii are made from the moulds of the original bodies. With this information, I was in two worlds, I wasn’t too sure if I should take photos of the fake sculptures or not and decided not to waste my time taking a plethora of photos of something that’s not genuine and focussed on the building structures in Pompeii instead. But on a positive note, at least the city of Pompeii couldn’t be housed in the museum. Having stated that, I highly recommend to do the tour, it’s worth your time. I found the information and seeing Pompeii in person very fascinating. If you have finished drinking your water during the tour, it’s all good because there are running water fountains in Pompeii ruins for you to refill your bottle. If you want to see the “real” Pompeii… the complete package, it is best to do the tour plus a trip to Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli. We couldn’t do that, as we didn’t have time to squeeze in another day in Naples. After the tour, you return from the beginning, where you can have something to eat / refresh or do what we did and brought our own snacks instead. After our lunch break, we moved onto our next stop… Mt Vesuvius. By then, we were exhausted with the amount of walking we had done already in Pompeii in 34+ degree Celsius heatwave, in fact, our tour guide told us not to push ourselves to do the walk and just enjoy the magnificent views from the Tirone-Alto Vesuvius Forest Reserve – views are equally amazing. But I was determined to walk to the top, just to say “I did it” and see the majestic crater of Mt Vesuvius. It’s not that bad of a walk, as the bus stops close by – approximately 1100 metres walk to the top from where the bus dropped us off. It took me at least half an hour to reach the top of Mt Vesuvius, including stops in between, taking the view and catching my breath. It was an effort and I highly recommend to bring a bottle of water, you will need it. I would definitely recommend to do this tour, rather than walking aimlessly around the Pompeii ruins, let your tour guide take care of the planning and sharing the finer details about the history of Pompeii, it’s well organised as the tour guide knew the interesting places to go to and it’s also hassle-free with traveling between the two places with an aircon coach, no stress of how to get from A to B or parking – value for money.

Incredible experience Very well organised trip with everyone having different pick up points, different languages, and different tours. We met into 1 group for the coach journey which was quick and easy. Then we separated by languages. We had the English tour and Alyssa (excuse spelling) was our tour guide. She was incredible. Fluent in English, perfect to understand. She made great jokes, knew how alot of British slang etc. Her knowledge was impeccable, everything she told us was mesmerising and I came home with masses of information about pompeii. Afterwards, we got into another group for the bus home. HIGHLY recommend this tour option and Alyssa she was fabulous. Definitely a trip to remember

Fabulous experience Very good organization. Excellent guide, Patricia, in Spanish. He has taught us and explained the archaeological site to understand it very well

Pompeii from Salerno Easy drive from cruise port to Pompeii. We had a very professional guide around the ruins for two hours and 15 mins later we were on our Mercedes transport back to the port. Don't go in August though. We melted in the heat and there were lots of tourists.

Fabulous historical tour Seemless pick up from cruise ship. Fabulous knowledgeable guide and ancient site is amazing need much longer to see everything

Vesuvius and Pompeii Great tour. A little more time at Mt Vesuvius would have been awesome but it’s a lot to fit into one day. There was just enough time to get to the top and back down. If you want a leisurely walk then stopping at the first station is your best bet.

Life in Pompeii Excellent experience, you know in detail what life was like for the inhabitants of Pompeii, and everything was very enjoyable thanks to our guide Rafael a very experienced guide with much to tell. I fully recommend the guided tour.

Excellent value for money Pick up was easy at port , a little bit of waiting on arrival for our tour guide who was excellent. Incredible place and loads to learn about ! Take an umbrella for the shade and loads of water as 1 litre lasted about one hour on the 2 hour tour ! Was so hot and lovely.

Definitely do it! Worth it! It was super impressive to see the old ruins and our guide had great stories ready. It was very entertaining and not boring in a second! The transfer went well, we were on time but the bus departed a bit late, otherwise everything was well organized!

Pompeii - Well worth the Cost and Time If you plan to visit Pompeii, I would strongly recommend you find a tour with a guide. Most people know Pompeii as the ancient Italian city destroyed by Mt. Vesuvius. That is only a very small part of the story. A guide really helps to bring to life the Roman people when Pompeii was at its peak. Just walking around the Pompeii ruins would not give you near the experience as a guide providing you an overview of key locations, civil engineering, and how these people died while being preserved. It is an amazing opportunity to step back time over 2000 yrs again and understand how people lived.

Very nice excursion. Highly recommended Very nice excursion. The guide was very friendly. The transfers were very good. Despite being in excessive heat and a 9-year-old boy, the excursion was very cute and bearable.

Super half day trip for dive to history Excellent service with pick up from hotel, super good and clear guide, very interesting story and area, good timing not to get too tired.

Great Family Day We really enjoyed this tour. The company was great about communicating, the bus was comfortable, with A/C. They made a stop so we could have a snack and use the restroom. We went to Mount Vesuvius first, and they gave us plenty of time to walk to the top and take pictures. It was so cool to see inside the volcano and the views from the top were incredible! We then drove to Pompeii and had a delicious pizza lunch, and then toured the ruins. Our guide was great, she gave us time to look around each place we went and had interesting facts to tell us about what life was like then. We even got to see the bodies. We had time to see a lot of the area and ant the end to buy a cold drink. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Stunning!!! Stunning, I have waited my whole life to go to Pompeii and this was nothing more than reality in focus.Amazing history, amazing place, it was hot and the site is massive, well worth the visit if you want living History.

Great visit to Pompeii Total timeliness, simplicity, well-prepared guide informs the essentials in a didactic and enjoyable way. Very nice Giusseppe.

Pompeii, lunch and a hike! The beginning of the tour was a little chaotic but to be expected for such a popular tourist destination. All connections were good. Our bus driver to get to Mt. Vesuvius was amazing! Tight curvy road! Hiking to the top of the mountain was not easy especially in the heat, but we'll worth the effort for the views. My suggestion is to dress appropriately!

Amazing Pompey and Vesuvius A must when you visit Naples, amazing tour guide with loads of knowledge and a great lunch provided in between. Vesuvius is amazing, make sure you have proper shoes when going up and a bottle of water.

Spectacular! Had a great tour to Pompei and Vesuvius mountain with HP Travel from Naples. Highly recommend! I want to say special thank you to our guide ALESSIA. She is amazing!

Amazing! Would do it again I would rate a 4, our guide was great. Maria was vert knowledgeable and made sure everyone fully understood the history. Yes, is ground but we came right before high season hit. We still enjoy our time and the history of Pompeii is a must.

Worth the price Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius are amazing. Taking a tour makes it easier to organize and even cheaper than doing it yourself. Well organized, the guide knew where to go and how to make things happen even when the place was full of tourists. The route to the volcano was very scary but the bus driver was very professional and experienced. Very well recommended

Great tour Absolutely a great tour. The tour guide (I think her name was Teresa) was very knowledgeable and helpful and fully recommend going on this tour. There is a lot of walking and on cobble stones but that is what you expect from an old site.

Excellent and hassle-free! From the pick-up and drop-off and the tour with Alessandra (I hope I got her name right), excellent! Alessandra, our tour guide, had so much information and it made me appreciate what I was seeing in the tour. I highly recommend doing these organized tours especially if you are going solo because you wont have to worry about transportation.

Ignore the last review. It's brilliant! I'm unsure what the previous review was expecting when booking a day trip from Rome to Pompeii. Unless they were under the impression that the tour operator had invented a machine to teleport them, a simple Google search prior to booking to check the distance between locations would have suggested the time it takes each way. I'd urge you to take their poor rating with a pinch of salt. This trip was the highlight of our trip to Rome and I would fully recommend it. The transport sets off at 07.30 from Rome, stopping one time for 15 minutes and arriving at around 10.30. We had some free time to buy water, food, go to the toilet etc at the entrance of the park before meeting with the tour guide to get our headsets. The shops at the entrance to the park are expensive, so I'd suggest bringing things with you if you don't want to pay high prices. We bought a sandwich and orange juice which was €12. The tour of the archeological park was amazing. We did the English tour and the guide was informative and funny. Starting around 11.10, lasting just over two hours with around 15 minutes spare time to take photos in the main square of Pompeii, where you can see Mount Vesuvius in the background. You then leave the park, so the previous review is correct in the sense that there is no free time to explore the city yourselves, however, we felt that more time exploring the city ourselves wouldn't have given us any more insight or knowledge that hadn't already been covered on the tour. When the bus driver drops you off, he tells you when and where he will pick you up, for us it was 2.30 at the same place he drops you off, so if having no free time to explore yourself if a deal breaker then it in theory would be possible to hand the headset back to the guide, split off from the group before leaving the park, skip the lunch and have the additional hour or so in the park, although nobody on our tour did this. Ths restaurant for lunch is just across the road from the entrance to the park. The pizza was good, not outatanding but certainly not bad, photo attached, and included is water and Coca-Cola. The bus back started at 2.30 and we did not stop at all, although the driver said if somebody needed to then we could just tell him. The bus is indeed cold in the morning journey as the aircon is on and the temperature is cooler, but is lovely in the afternoon when you need it. We arrived back at 17.10. Overall, although it's a long day it was the best site seeing of our trip and we are so happy we booked!

Awesome Pompeii Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We we given a reminder text the day before the tour and the bus met us at the correct time and location. We were given headsets that allowed us to hear the presentation. Our tour guide spoke fluent English and gave us so many facts and insight into the Roman culture at that time. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to take some amazing pictures.

Pompeii is amazing The guide was Rafaela, who explained very well, passing on information and historical data! It was excellent, I wish I had 1 more hour to discover even more!! Excellent tour!

visit Pompeii and Vesuvius perfect organization for the visit to Pompei and Vesuvius All the guides were very pleasant Free time at Vesuvius deserves to be extended a little because the ascent takes a little time but the view is magnificent To recommend

Uniquely foggy but fun experience! A unique experience for us bc the day we went to Vesuvius was massively foggy you couldn’t see a thing! But we did it anyway and happily! First, if you message them on WhatsApp on the number provided on the order confirmation they may be able to accommodate your hotel or BnB pickup. We did that and they graciously came to get us and we picked up a few others and were off to Pompeii. The guide in Pompeii was so good - Maria! Knowledgeable, funny, remembered so many names and she was also a stickler for the rules (no line cutting with Maria)! The driver and guide - Andrea and Rita - on the trip to Vesuvius were great. Andrea in particular had to navigate REALLY scary foggy windy roads and he did it like a champ. You couldn’t even see a foot in front of the van. And then they dropped everyone off at their pickup spot on Napoli. Also, before we left to go to Napoli we stopped for the free tasting. All I’ll say is the guy who owns this place is a GREAT salesman! His drinks and candy are top notch too. I’d say the value of the trip was more than fair. You don’t have to think about food or travel for the day and you get to learn a lot about the history of Pompeii and Vesuvius. My ONLY complaint was that we waited an hour (no exaggeration) for pizza at the end of the Pompeii tour. This was the scheduled lunch from the trip and the only restaurant there was not able to make PIZZA quickly. It was kind of nuts - most of us had 5 minutes to eat before we had to go to Vesuvius. Rita was not pleased. (Also the pizza wasn’t even that good comparatively to actual pizzerias in Napoli.) Still highly recommend!

Great tour This was a wonderful tour. We learned so much about how the Romans lived and how ingenious they were. Antonio was a fun and informative tour guide.

Very instructive excursion Excellent guide He knew a lot about history and made us live every moment. Part of the ruins are visited and a lot of emphasis is placed on the lupanar.

Fantasticaaa Then shuttle transfer ok guided tour by Alex exceptional excellent explanations seasoned with a bit of humor which never hurts then Vesuvius ok a nice hike but it was worth it return ok

Informative and convenient. Very informative and convenient with the bus. Our tour guide knew all of the intricate details regarding Pompeii. Lunch was also very good.

Nice to visit Pompeii with a knowledgeable guide. Visiting Pompeii is always an interesting thing. But with the accompaniment of a guide you always learn anecdotes and information that you cannot find in the brochures. Delighted with the visit to Pompeii.

Pompeii vs Vesuvius Excellent guide Alex in Pompeii, very knowledgeable and friendly. Good offer at the restaurant with choice of menu. For Vesuvius, a big hike, perhaps with a bit of a tight deadline that didn't leave much time to enjoy the situation but, overall, everything is wonderful, worth it.

Wonderful day Everything was organized to perfection, down to the smallest details: from the minibus that picked us up and brought us back, to the visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius. A wonderful day that I recommend to everyone and congratulations to Project Napoli Service for the service they offered, money truly spent willingly.

Great Tour of Pompeii Highlights This was a well organized tour. Our guide was well informed and funny. This is perfect if you are short on time and interested in the highlights.

Great experience touring Pompeii and hiking Mt. Vesuvius The tour of Pompeii was excellent, our guide Marina was very good at sharing everything she knew about the city. The hike up Vesuvius was also really cool, I wish we had a little more than 20 minutes at the top but it was still worth it for the experience. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone that's interested in it.

Pompeii and Vesuvius not to be missed Pompeii is magical and if you have friendly and highly trained guides it is even more so! In addition to Pompeii, we finally added the trip to Vesuvius! Marvelous! I recommend it to everyone

Amazing stories of Pompei Our tour guide at Pompeii ruins made our visit truly unforgettable. Her captivating stories brought the ancient city to life, making every corner and artifact fascinating. Highly recommend her for anyone wanting to experience Pompeii in a whole new light!

Worth every penny. Don’t miss it! Absolutely fabulous! From the convenient pick up to the comprehensive guided tour everything was well thought out, explained and efficient. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and she had very good English. It’s an incredible place to visit and the tour made it more so.

Very good Had an amazing day with Sandra as our guide was excellent very knowledgeable knew her stuff and made it a ver6 pleasant day the driver Giovanni was very good on the hairpin bends coming down from versuvius .

Great time had. Fabulous 1/2 day with our guide Maria. She was informative, thorough and very funny. It was a great time at a fascinating place.

Cool daytrip, a must do, once you visit Napoli Really nice, well organized and informative tour with very friendly guides. Pick up and drop by went as planned, enough time to discover Pompeii and to have a nice walk arond the creter of the Vesuvius.

Great day out with family This was an amazing day tour. It is a long day (pickup at 10.15, dropped off around 17.40), but definitely worth it. The guides on the buses and around Pompeii were great. Our Pompeii tour lasted approx. 2hrs. We  were then given around 80mins for lunch and a wander around the stalls, before being taken to Mt Vesuvius. There we were given around 90mins to walk to the top and back. Took us 30mins on the way up. Some other reviews have said it was a bit rushed, but we didn't feel rushed at any point in the day. It all went at a good pace. I'd definitely recommend.

Excellent service From the beginning Pepe was a good patient, communicative and professional driver. With him we visited Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Thank you very much for your service

Do it ! Tour went like clock work - pick up on time. Tour itself was informative and comical with our excellent tour guide Antonio. Fantastic to be able to experience this amazing place. Given free time afterwards to grab donethibg to eat and buy souvenirs

Super stress savers! This was a great experience! The pick up service was so helpful, instructions were clear, the tour guide was great, I would really recommend this to anyone who wants to see Pompeii. They took a lot of stress out of planning for this day. They were also very accommodating as I was ill on the day we were supposed to go and they went above and beyond to ensure we could go the next day. Thank you so much for a great time!

Must do Pompeii Great trip. Elise was great to explain the nuances of Pompeii and its people as they lived during those days. Great anecdotes and current English phases as they related to today were an eye opener. Perfect length for a trip. Highly recommend. Enjoyed it.

Ask for Miguel as your tour guide! Our tour guide Miguel made the tour! He was funny, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the two hour tour. He answered all the questions, kept everyone at a good pace, and explained all major points. He made the tour very enjoyable. Also, the communication was excellent from the beginning to the end, pick ip and drop off was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this if you only have a few hours to spare and still want to visit Pompeii.

Tour of Pompeii Tour was excellent. Not too busy, saw Pompeii and the guide explained a lot of detail about it. Well worth going to see. The whole tour, pick up and travelling to and from the site was efficient.

Elisa Made My Wife's Trip to Pompei Unforgettable Pompei has been on my wife's "bucket list" since we were married -- nearly 42 years. We scheduled this trip 5 times during the pandemic -- and cancelled it 5 times. There was a reason for this -- and the reason was Elisa -- our tour guide for the 6th time! She is fantastic!!!! She is what every professional tour guide strives to be -- a subject expert, a mesmerizing story teller, and that person who you just want to sit down with and listen to for hours. From the moment we set off from the front gate, ubtil 2 hours later as we were exiting, she made you feel that you lived through the eruption of Vesuvius on October 24 79AD. And her anecdotes of the living conditions in that time and how they are relevant today, were great! Bravo to you, Elisa -- my wife cannot stop talking about you-- and thanking you -- for making her trip to Pompei a "highlight" of her life.

An outstanding experience with Elisa We enjoyed this tour very much and were so happy to experience Naples and Pompeii. Elisa is an excellent guide - warm, friendly, humorous and knowledgeable - a highly recommended outing. THANK YOU!

Great experience Very good experience, in very good company. Our guide Sandra gave us lots of information on the surrounding towns before our arrival in Pompeii. Thanks Sandra 🙂

Great morning Sandra accompanied us on our tour to the ruins of Pompeii. She looked after our group very well, and made sure to advise us on interesting activities. She is pleasant, dynamic and speaks French very well! Thanks for this tour

The guide makes all the difference We decided to definitely take a guided tour of Pompeii to ensure we got the most out of it. Our group was about 20, and our tour guide, Elisa, was the absolute best. She has been in the business 30+ years, and not only knows her stuff, but she delivers it with polish and a fantastic sense of humor. Listening to her stories of the history of Pompeii and its people, she really bridged the gap between centuries and made it easy to imagine wandering the 79AD Pompeii before calamity struck. She moved us at a perfect pace, gave pertinent information, kept the group corralled and moving, while entertaining us from stop to finish. Well worth the $ on many levels.

The guide made the trip The guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate. The tour was very informative. We will come again for a longer visit.

Unforgettable tour of Pompeii The tour guide not only told us the history of Pompeii but also described the story of every house and building that we visited, which made this tour unforgettable.

Very informative, great if you have limited time. Our hotel wasn’t on the list for pick up, so was a short walk to a meeting point, which was no trouble. The pick up was running slightly late, which was messaged to me, so no problem. We were driven to Pompeii where we were met by a guide and moved into a larger group. The tour of Pompeii was great Erica was informative, we saw some amazing things. We were humbled and extremely thankful that we got to see this in our lifetime. There is so much to see you could spend the whole day, however we were on a time constraint to get a train to Rome in the afternoon, so the half day suited us perfectly. The only suggestion is that the bus driver on pick up could explain what to expect. We had no idea until we got there, we thought the driver was the guide.
